Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
This is a varied role within the wider team and would suit someone with a couple of years' experience in a media, communications or engagement role. You will provide support and communications and engagement advice around a number of multi-modal transport projects across the Auckland region, from major capital projects, speed reviews and safety projects, through to road management and maintenance projects in the wider region.
For this Advisor level role, we are looking for someone with some base skills and the right attitude who can grow and develop in the team. We have a strong focus on mentoring and development for people who are keen to get stuck in and roll up their sleeves.

We are in search of an organised and flexible individual, with a can-do attitude with the drive to deliver!
You will also bring;
- The desire to collaborate and engage with a broad range of people
- The ability to learn new systems quickly and an eye for detail
- Excellent organisation skills
- Natural curiosity around how things are done and how to make things better
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning in the field of engagement and communications
- A tertiary qualification in communications or a related discipline is desirable but not essential
