Looking for your next exciting programme management role? How about a unique opportunity to be involved with major infrastructure projects that keep New Zealand moving. We are looking for candidates who have potentially transferrable skills or maybe meet most of the requirements but not all.
As the Survey and Legalisation Manager you will lead the strategic and operational delivery of Waka Kotahi's survey and legalisation programme, a key work stream in ensuring our projects are closed out well and with an annual budget of circa $5 million.
Working as part of a nationally dispersed property disposal team you will uphold the value of the specialist property contribution to the Waka Kotahi transport outcomes and will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders across the country that includes surveyors, local councils and government agencies.
Continuous improvement of land information management is a critical component of this role and you will drive best practice initiatives to ensure that accurate integrated property information is available to support the survey and legalisation programme and revenue generation from property disposal.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- a collaborative working style, proven people skills with experience in influencing and building credibility across a range of stakeholders
- programme management skillset
- a minimum of five years in a similar or related role (e.g. project or programme management, surveying, portfolio management, property development)
