The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
The Financial Analyst will support the management of the Transport Agency's cash-flow and associated risks over the current annual cycle, the three-year National Land Transport Programme (NLTP) and next 10 years. It also supports the implementation of the current and development of the upcoming NLTPs.
This role sits in our Treasury and Cash Flow team, who administer the funding allocation and approval system to ensure funding is allocated to the levels approved by the Government (Crown) and appropriate Transport Agency delegated authority.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated numeric and analytical skills and understanding of the logic and risks behind the numbers
- Experience in systems administration and financial management
- Systems and process improvement experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Excel and other analytical tools skills.
- Tertiary qualification preferably relevant to financial or economic analysis
