The Business Support team sits within the People business group, whose purpose is to develop and manage people related systems, processes and practices. Our team has an increased focus on ensuring that everyone at the Agency has access to great workplace facilities, tools and equipment to help them do their job as well as to provide effective administrative support to Managers and their teams as they go about their work. Your team is key to making the Agency a great place to work.
As our Practice Manager, you will provide operational leadership to one of our three Business Support Services teams in Wellington. You'll work closely with the Manager, Business Support Services as well as the other two Practice Managers and while you will have your own portfolio of business groups to provide administrative support for, you'll also need to work collaboratively with the other Practice Managers to ensure seamless support to all of our groups.
In this role you will build strong, effective relationships across the business, ensuring the right resources are allocated to support our people to deliver excellent service. You will be a flexible and adaptable manager who can work well in an agile and ever changing environment.

- Proven experience in a leadership role in a large complex organisation
- Strong ability to lead administrative support functions across multiple team environments and locations
- An innovative approach to problem solving
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships
